The Passport Climbs Higher

The 2027 Passport TrailSport gains 1.38 inches of lift, raising ground clearance to 9.65 inches and giving Honda's two-row SUV more room over rocks and ruts. Its approach and departure angles improve by two degrees, while the breakover angle gains three, changes that make the rugged badge more meaningful once the pavement ends.

Seventy Percent of the Suspension Changed

Honda did much more than fit taller springs. Engineers redesigned nearly 70 percent of the major suspension components, including the springs, dampers, stabilizer bars, front subframe, and driveshafts, all to preserve sensible geometry and road manners at the new height. The familiar 3.5-liter V6 remains, while TrailWatch cameras and a heated steering wheel become standard across every TrailSport rather than staying exclusive to the Elite.

Amber Lights, Wider Flares, Same Daily Usability

More prominent fender flares, a restyled front bumper, and twin amber lights in the low-profile hood scoop sharpen the exterior without turning it into a caricature. Smoke Blue Pearl also replaces Obsidian Blue Pearl in the paint range. With TrailSport models already accounting for more than 80 percent of Passport sales, this update focuses on the reason most buyers chose the trim in the first place: useful off-road clearance paired with the easy road behavior of a crossover.
